We are owned by Patrick Taha, who developed a strong appreciation for solid wood furniture while growing up in the Midwest. When his previous job in the oil and gas industry brought him to New Orleans, he realized that the city needed a place to go to find the quality and craftsmanship of solid wood furniture. Thus, Maple & Oak Amish Furniture was born!

Patrick is joined by Ashley Moore, who is born and raised in the New Orleans area. With a degree in Interior Design from LSU, Ashley is here to help you find the perfect pieces of Amish furniture for your home. Ashley’s knowledge of the city and its style is an added bonus, as she has the insight needed to help our customers.

Our mission at Maple & Oak is to provide our customers with high-quality, solid wood furniture, crafted by Amish woodworkers for its beauty and durability. We strive to offer our customers with the same attention to detail that there craftsmen provide by creating a trustworthy, welcoming space to find furniture that will last a lifetime.

Our furniture is designed and crafted with care. The craftsmen we work with draw on generations of woodworking traditions and have adapted their skills to reproduce and interpret a wide range of American and European furniture styles. Each piece in the showroom is made in the United States, crafted from real hardwood, and selected for its durability, design, and workmanship.
